On the way back up to Boone Wednesday I got a call from my teacher cancelling class, so I decided to take my time. I got the call in Orange County so to take a break from driving I wanted to finally take a little trip to the Vietri outlet. I found it....but it was closed. I walked in the warehouse and it was huge! Full of pretty things but I was almost immediately shut down when an employee told me to come back tomorrow for the sale they were closed to set up for. Such a bummer. Well maybe next time I go home I'll stop by!

"That's where I wanna go..."
Avoiding packing by slacking off on YouTube. Wish I was seven-years-old today....
Also check out Miss Piggy and Kermit covering She Drives Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals. Conan O'Brien is dancing and singing in it. Makes me miss my daddy. He showed me this when I was little. I loved it.

LOVE
One more thing, exactly three years ago--4.20.08--I was sitting in a certain boyfriend's car in the parking lot of great outdoor provision in Greenville after dinner and a movie (and a second movie we snuck into after the first one!). He handed me a crossword puzzle hand drawn in magic marker that's hidden message said "Will you be my girlfriend?" Well, I bet you know the answer to that question! Yes then, and yes now. <3

Heading Home!
I've been really busy with work and "school" this week so I'm really excited about heading to Topsail for Easter break. I just have to get through a solid 12 hour day tomorrow and I'm home free. I don't even mind the prospect of that 4.5-5 hour drive. I'm actually looking forward to being alone and listening to music all the way. Here's a couple things that'll be on my mountain to sea playlist.
I can't express how much I need the east right now. I love Boone and these beautiful mountains I live in, but the low country is my home. Can't wait to see my family and spend some serious time in the sun. I think bf is letting me borrow his fancy iPod and new camera, so that's the plan...taking pictures, listening to music, getting the tan I've so desperately craved since the weather's been so nice! Summer can't get here soon enough.

127 hrs
Last night boyfriend and I watched a really great movie. 127 hours with James Franco. It's about a guy who cuts off his own arm isolated in a canyon in Utah to save his life. It's an amazing story. And it's true. Aron Ralston is a real person (bad-ass) who chose life even if it meant he had to break his bone and use a cheap, dull multi-tool to saw off his arm. It's sick, and sad, and completely awesome at the same time. Over 127 hours isolated with no other way out this man has to make this decision and execute it successfully. Watch this movie!
It's about life being a choice--whether your arm is trapped under a boulder or your just waiting.
It's been awhile
So, It's been awhile since my last blog post....not that anybody cares. What I mean is I'm not silly enough to think that anyone is reading this...lol. Well it's been a crazy/awful past 6 weeks. I lost someone very dear to me. I'm not ready to express everything I'm feeling. I'd like to start blogging again to focus on the good and have some place to be creative. I need something to get my mind off things. What I'm trying to say is I miss my dad. I had to say that to get it out of the way. I miss him so much.
